Teen arrested after mom seen son had gun at Texas faculty drop-off

LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD/Grey Information) - A number of agencies responded to a middle faculty in Texas Friday morning after an adolescent’s mother noticed he was carrying a gun.
Police in Lubbock inform KCBD a mother was dropping off her 15-year-old son at O.L. Slaton Middle School round 9 a.m. when she seen the firearm. The teen by no means made it contained in the constructing, and he ran from the college.
The Lubbock Police Division responded to the area along with a number of other businesses in an try to find him.
The teenager was found close to the college’s campus and brought into custody.
Authorities said the 15-year-old could be facing a felony weapons cost.
Police say there was no menace made to the school or anyone inside the college.
