Juveniles Crash Stolen Automobile Near White House: Officers – NBC4 Washington

Two juveniles had been injured Monday after crashing a stolen automobile into a concrete safety barrier close to the White House, the U.S. Secret Service stated.

A Secret Service spokesperson tells News4 that officers tried to pull over the car about 6:30 p.m., but the driver took off.

The automobile slammed right into a concrete barrier and a phone pole at seventeenth Road and Pennsylvania Avenue NW, officials stated.

Video reveals a silver sedan partly crumpled within the entrance across the street from a Secret Service guard publish, plus a concrete barrier pushed into the street.

There have been two juveniles in the automobile. Each have been taken to a hospital and are now in steady situation, officials mentioned. We don't know their actual ages.

They’re anticipated to face expenses.

D.C. police are investigating.
