Juveniles Crash Stolen Automobile Close to White House: Officials – NBC4 Washington

Two juveniles had been injured Monday after crashing a stolen automotive into a concrete safety barrier close to the White House, the U.S. Secret Service stated.

A Secret Service spokesperson tells News4 that officers tried to tug over the automobile about 6:30 p.m., however the driver took off.

The automotive slammed into a concrete barrier and a phone pole at seventeenth Avenue and Pennsylvania Avenue NW, officers mentioned.

Video shows a silver sedan partly crumpled in the entrance across the road from a Secret Service guard post, plus a concrete barrier pushed into the road.

There were two juveniles in the automobile. Both were taken to a hospital and are now in steady condition, officials said. We don't know their precise ages.

They’re expected to face prices.
