Household of Kidnapped Lady Claims Inaction of Dallas Police & Mavs in Intercourse Trafficking Case

DALLAS - A 15-year-old woman from North Richland Hills is now house after being kidnapped by a man at an April 8 Dallas Mavericks recreation at American Airlines Heart. But the household nonetheless seeks solutions, and is charging the Mavs, the AAC and Dallas Police for not performing swiftly sufficient regarding the crime, which had the girl as part of a sex-trafficking operation.

“She was gone lacking a complete of 11 days,” attorney Zeke Fortenberry said. “Our intent is that manner (the aforementioned organizations) are on notice that we’re pursuing claims against them for their negligence and other causes of motion.''

Fortenberry mentioned the teenager’s father knowledgeable police on the sport when he realized she was lacking. However, in line with the legal professional, the daddy was told to report the allegations to his hometown North Richland Hills Police. 

Fortenberry claims NRH police mentioned they weren’t capable of help as a result of the incident occurred in Dallas.

The attorney stated it was the Houston-based human trafficking agency Texas Counter-Trafficking Initiative that worked to find the lacking woman, who was being held in an Oklahoma Metropolis motel.

Dallas Police instructed WFAA that they adopted protocol'' and that they aided North Richland Hills PD within the search.

The Mavs responded publicly on April 20, after the woman was discovered, the team releasing the following assertion: “The American Airways Heart (and the Dallas Mavericks) are grateful that the teenager has been found.Each entities will proceed to cooperate with native and regional law enforcement on this case.''
