New York sex employee Angelina Barini sentenced to 30 years for fatally drugging 4 males

The pattern was nearly an identical.

Between July and August 2019, sex employee Angelina Barini met together with her shoppers at motels in New York City before giving them harmful doses of drugs that incapacitated them. Then, she would rob the boys and depart with their personal belongings.

Four of them, including a outstanding Italian chef, died of overdoses from the medicine, court records state.

In August, Barini pleaded responsible to distributing medicine that killed her purchasers, including fentanyl and gamma-butyrolactone, known for causing irrational conduct, extreme illness, coma and dying.

Last week, a decide sentenced the 43-year-old Barini to 30 years in prison.

Per week later, on July 11, Barini had an encounter with one other man at a motel in Woodside, Queens, where she gave him fentanyl-laced medication. The man additionally died of a drug overdose, a grievance states.

The following month, on Aug. 5, Barini met her third sufferer in School Level, Queens, and again gave him fentanyl-laced medicine that led to a deadly overdose, prosecutors stated.

Later that month, on Aug. 18, Barini met her final identified sufferer, Andrea Zamperoni — a chef for the high-end restaurant chain Cipriani — inside an Elmhurst, Queens, motel room, where she drugged him with gamma-butyrolactone, generally often called a “date rape” drug. The man died shortly afterward.

That day, courtroom records state, Barini repeatedly tried to dispose of the sufferer’s physique. Barini wrapped Zamperoni’s body in bleach-stained sheets and placed it inside a trash bin, in response to prosecutors. Zamperoni was reported missing on Aug. 21, prosecutors stated. That same day, the New York City Police Department found the man’s body in the motel room.

According to courtroom records, when authorities knocked on the room’s door, Barini opened and swiftly shut it. Once investigators made it into the room, they observed a strong odor — that of a decomposing body and burning incense, the complaint states.

Barini told investigators that “she didn't do it,” but also that her “pimp” made her do it. Contained in the motel room, authorities found several objects, together with a bank card belonging to Zamperoni and a glass pipe used to smoke medication, courtroom data state.

When authorities later interrogated her, Barini said Zamperoni had agreed to pay her for sex. When she woke up, Barini said, he was unresponsive and bleeding from the nostril and mouth. Her pimp, she added, wouldn't let her call the police.

Fernando Dallorso, the final supervisor of Cipriani in New York, informed the New York Occasions that Zamperoni was a “dedicated arduous worker” who cooked six days per week and “by no means missed a day of labor.”

The kitchen staff mourned the loss, Dallorso told the Times.

“Everybody within the kitchen proper now could be heartbroken, from the dishwasher to the chef,” Dallorso stated.
