BARNSTEAD, N.H. -- A person was arrested Friday after a number of signs saying "college shooter" have been present in Barnstead, Epsom, and Pittsfield, New Hampshire, the state's Department of Safety announced. Guy Hanson, 61, of Pittsfield, faces multiple fees.

Hanson allegedly placed the signs across the communities, the Division of Security said, however they determined there is no credible threat right now.
The New Hampshire Division of Safety is investigating indicators that read 'school shooter!' which had been present in a number of communities New Hampshire Department of SecurityOne such signal was written on a paper plate. The security department released a photograph of the plate but blurred a part of it "to guard the integrity of the investigation."
Hanson was arrested on a felony charge of felony threatening and three misdemeanor charges including false report back to regulation enforcement, false public alarm and legal threatening. He is being held in Merrimack County Jail pending a listening to scheduled for Tuesday.
No other suspects have been charged at this time.
