Final NYC public payphone removed

New York City's final financial institution of public payphones was removed from a street corner in Midtown.

NEW YORK - The final New York Metropolis public pay telephone was eliminated on Monday morning. 

The financial institution of two phones was on 7th Avenue and fiftieth Avenue in Midtown Manhattan. And, as you would possibly anticipate in Manhattan, graffiti was scrawled on it. 

Town began eradicating payphones in 2015 and changing them with public Wi-Fi hotspots.
