Juveniles Crash Stolen Automobile Close to White Home: Officers – NBC4 Washington

Two juveniles were injured Monday after crashing a stolen car into a concrete security barrier near the White Home, the U.S. Secret Service said.

A Secret Service spokesperson tells News4 that officers tried to drag over the car about 6:30 p.m., but the driver took off.

The car slammed right into a concrete barrier and a telephone pole at 17th Avenue and Pennsylvania Avenue NW, officers stated.

Video shows a silver sedan partly crumpled in the entrance across the street from a Secret Service guard publish, plus a concrete barrier pushed into the street.

There have been two juveniles in the car. Each were taken to a hospital and are actually in steady situation, officials mentioned. We do not know their actual ages.

They’re expected to face charges.

D.C. police are investigating.
