Juveniles Crash Stolen Automotive Close to White House: Officials – NBC4 Washington

Two juveniles were injured Monday after crashing a stolen car right into a concrete security barrier near the White Home, the U.S. Secret Service mentioned.

A Secret Service spokesperson tells News4 that officers tried to tug over the automotive about 6:30 p.m., but the driver took off.

The car slammed right into a concrete barrier and a phone pole at seventeenth Road and Pennsylvania Avenue NW, officers mentioned.

Video shows a silver sedan partly crumpled in the front throughout the road from a Secret Service guard post, plus a concrete barrier pushed into the street.

There were two juveniles within the car. Each have been taken to a hospital and are now in secure situation, officers said. We don't know their actual ages.

They’re anticipated to face expenses.

D.C. police are investigating.
