EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - Police say they arrested a driver who was 3.5 occasions the authorized alcohol restrict after no less than 5 individuals called 911.
Officers say the calls began coming in round 4:40 p.m. Monday.
They are saying witnesses reported seeing a SUV hit the median of the Lloyd Expressway near the Fundamental Avenue exit. They say the crash caused a flat tire and the car to smoke, but the driver kept going.
Different callers say the motive force was all over the highway and now lacking a front tire.
They are saying he ultimately stopped at a car dealership and appeared “tremendous drunk.”
Staff instructed police the motive force, 30-year-old Jordon Mattingly, was trying to sell his SUV.
Police say he had swelling and scratches as if he had just been in a crash.
They are saying Mattingly smelled of alcohol and nearly fell a number of occasions. Officers say he tested .291 on a transportable breath take a look at.
Police say inside his SUV, they discovered Four Loko cans and a can of White Claw.
Mattingly is dealing with several fees.
He is the son of the supervisor for the Miami Marlins and former skilled baseball participant, Don Mattingly.
