EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - Police say they arrested a driver who was 3.5 instances the authorized alcohol limit after no less than 5 individuals known as 911.
Officers say the calls started coming in around 4:40 p.m. Monday.
They are saying witnesses reported seeing a SUV hit the median of the Lloyd Expressway close to the Principal Road exit. They are saying the crash prompted a flat tire and the automobile to smoke, but the driver stored going.
Different callers say the driving force was all over the highway and now missing a entrance tire.
They say he finally stopped at a car dealership and appeared “super drunk.”
Staff advised police the driver, 30-year-old Jordon Mattingly, was trying to promote his SUV.
Police say he had swelling and scratches as if he had just been in a crash.
They are saying Mattingly smelled of alcohol and almost fell a number of instances. Officers say he examined .291 on a transportable breath test.
Police say inside his SUV, they discovered 4 Loko cans and a can of White Claw.
Mattingly is going through several prices.
He's the son of the supervisor for the Miami Marlins and former skilled baseball participant, Don Mattingly.
