A girl visiting Yellowstone Nationwide Park was gored by a bison and tossed into the air, park officials stated Tuesday.
The 25-year-old lady, who was visiting from Ohio, was not identified in a news release from the park.
The woman approached the feminine bison Monday morning after it came near a boardwalk at Black Sand Basin, near Old Faithful geyser, the park mentioned.

An estimated 2,300 to five,500 bison stay on the park, and so they have injured more folks than some other animal, the park stated.
When the visitor got here within 10 feet of the animal, the bison impaled her and "tossed" her 10 ft in the air, the park stated.
The girl had puncture wounds and other injuries and was taken to a hospital in Idaho, the service said. Her condition was unknown Tuesday.
Two other individuals have been additionally close to the animal when it gored the lady, the park said. The discharge didn’t say if they have been injured.
The park warned folks to stay 25 yards from bison, elk, bighorn sheep and moose and not less than 100 yards from bears and wolves.
