The household of an 11-year-old girl who survived the massacre at Robb Elementary Faculty in Uvalde, Texas, on Tuesday says the 4th grader performed lifeless after the gunman entered her classroom.

Miah Cerrillo's aunt and godmother stated the 4th grader is struggling to cope and telling them what she witnessed throughout the taking pictures.

"Round midnight my sister-in-law called me and she or he was just crying, like 'I believe it simply hit Miah. I believe all the things came to reality now,'" stated Blanca Rivera.

Rivera stated Miah's trainer, Irma Garcia, was one of many two lecturers killed. Her pals and classmates were also focused.

Rivera stated that is when Miah went into survival mode.

"Miah got some blood and put it on herself so she may faux she was lifeless," stated Rivera. "It is an excessive amount of for me to play that scene time and again, but that is what my sister-in-law said is that she noticed her good friend filled with blood and he or she got blood and put it on herself."

Miah was injured however taken to the hospital and has been launched.

"My brother said she had bullet fragments in her again," stated Rivera.

Rivera, a mother of three, said the household is rallying round Miah to assist her get better physically, emotionally and spiritually.

"At this point, we just have to pray and ask God to help us move forward by way of this situation, I do know it is traumatizing as it is," stated Rivera.

Practically everyone in the town of Uvalde has been touched by the lack of somebody in the mass capturing at Robb Elementary College, residents are supporting one another as they start coping with the tragedy.
